Pay: 18.50/hour (plus an $1.50 shift differential) 

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Job Summary

 

Supports Operations by moving materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility with a variety of powered industrial equipment.

Essential Job Functions *

 

  • Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
  • Loads and unloads trucks
  • Ability to use a hand scanner
  • Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
  • Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
  • Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
  • Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
  • Transfers finished products to designated areas
  • Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
  • Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
  • Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

 

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
  • Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
  • Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

 

Operational Equipment

  • Hand-held RF Scanner, manual/motorized pallet jack, Powered Industrial Equipment

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
