The Opportunity
We're looking for a full-time Rewinder Operator - Printing & Packaging to join our growing production team. In this role, you'll operate and support rewinding equipment used to finish high-quality labels and shrink-sleeve packaging for leading brands in wine & spirits, health & beauty, and food & beverage.
You'll play a critical role in the final stage of production-ensuring printed materials are slit, inspected, and rewound to customer specifications with precision and consistency.
You'll work in a bright, clean facility with state-of-the-art printing and converting equipment and be responsible for maintaining quality, efficiency, and throughput on the rewinder.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and taking ownership of quality and output.
Requirements
What You'll Do
  • Operate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications
  • Set up jobs including core loading, blade positioning, tension settings, and web alignment
  • Inspect printed material during rewinding to identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues
  • Ensure finished rolls meet specifications for width, diameter, and winding quality
  • Manage roll changes, splicing, and material handling throughout production runs
  • Package finished rolls and prepare them for the next stage or shipment
  • Accurately record production data, including quantities, waste, and job performance
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rewinding equipment
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalate when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with press operators, finishing teams, and supervisors
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and efficiency

Requirements
