Job description

Nazdar has an open position in the Shawnee Warehouse department for a Material Handler. This position will provide support by assisting with material handling, small packaging, receiving, and driving a lift truck and domestic truck in the warehouse - with an emphasis on shipping.
This position will be Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, paid at $20/hr.
  • Relocate products as directed by the Supervisor by physically moving the products.
  • Modify storage racks and locations as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Proactively identify items in the wrong locations and return them to the correct locations.
  • Pulling of products for future batches such as; raw material storage, partials, q-stock, quarantine, or rework.
  • Assist with returning materials to batch storage locations that require a forklift or other means of lifting.
  • Assist with stock rotation.
  • Notify the Stocker of any stock replenishment that needs to be done.
  • Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Receiving POs.
  • Pull and pack small package orders.
  • Keep the warehouse and dock picked up and cleaned.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Stand and walk around the warehouse floor for long periods of time.
  • To reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulders
  • To bend to retrieve containers and packages.
  • To constantly lift materials
  • To climb ladders to retrieve materials.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Background in shipping/warehousing preferred.
  • Experience driving forklift preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
