Job description

The 204-Off Loader is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of inbound trucks, handling carts and waste, supporting customer service CBP compliance and Equipment and Sanitation operations. This role ensures that all inbound equipment is properly inspected, sorted, and relocated to designated areas, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Truck Operations

  • Offload inbound trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Open truck doors and unstrap carts.
  • Remove carts from trucks and relocate to unsorted inbound area.
  • Open carts to identify type and perform 6-point cart inspections.
  • Tag carts with "Out of Service" stickers when necessary.
  • Remove regulated waste from waste containers, trash carts, and meal carts.
Cart Handling & Sorting
  • Identify bonded inbound carts and deliver bonded beverage carts to the bonded holding area.
  • Move and sort carts to designated areas when no 204 Equipment Handler is available.
  • Provide empty carts for Customer Service for outbound flights and daily production.
  • Communicate cart locations to Customer Service dispatch/supervisor.
  • Remove empty trash carts and waste containers and relocate them to designated areas.
Truck Reloading
  • Reload each empty inbound truck with a minimum of two cleaned trash carts before relocating to the outbound dock.
  • Remove carriers from the top of carts and place them on appropriate racks.
Equipment & Supply Management
  • Identify reusable freeload racks from VO inbound and remove equipment needing sanitation (e.g., coffee servers, oven glides, trays, drawers, buckets).
  • Transfer only unopened soda, juice, water, and supply drawers to Assembly on freeload racks.
CBP Compliance Support
  • Assist the Autoclave operator with replacing full gondolas with empty ones at dock doors.
  • Remove open waste from carts and discard appropriately (gondolas, recycling bins, ice bins).
  • Secure leftover meals inside ovens or carts that can be properly closed.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy carts and equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail for inspection and sorting tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for coordination with Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance procedures, including CBP regulations.
