RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver Technician performs duties that ensure the safe and timely delivery of products to our accounts, customers, and guests. This position complies with instructions and prescribed routines as well as plans routes and deliveries. The Driver Technician operates medium to large trucks daily. The role will also handle minor maintenance and cleaning tasks as needed.

  • Safely operates medium to large trucks daily to deliver and pick up rental equipment at theme parks, resorts, and other facilities as instructed
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customer/guest needs
  • Perform maintenance services for mobility equipment, including strollers, wheelchairs, ECV's, lockers and other allied equipment
  • Ensure documents delivery and accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives reporting any discrepancies to company
  • Maintain a safe work area and complies with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Loading and unloading equipment in a timely manner
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as required
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a box truck driver
  • Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
  • Excellent driving and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
