What you have:
  • Must be 18 years of age (with HS diploma or equivalent preferred)
  • Must have 1 year experience in a licensed childcare facility
  • Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program
  • Successful background check and VA licensing standards required

What you will do:
  • Support the Lead Teacher in the care and education of a group of children
  • Assist in managing your students as they learn, play, eat and sleep
  • Keep your classroom organized and clean
  • Observe your children's interests; work with other team members to develop creative ideas for engaging activities
  • Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal conversations
