Responsibilities

The Payroll Administrator will performs a wide range of administrative and clerical functions in the this role and be responsible for supporting Payroll activity both internally and externally (in accordance with company policy, procedure, and Federal and State regulations).

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the weekly Payroll Process in JDEsoftware
  • Set up, maintain and payments of Court Orders, Garnishment and Levies
  • Set up required Per Diem Certification documents
  • Updates company vehicle assignments
  • Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data
  • Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave and non-taxable wages.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries
  • Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
  • Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state, union environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with JD Edwards or Oracle Fusion is a plus
