You'll lead engaging campus tours, organize impactful recruiting events and activities, and assist prospective students in applying to our diverse programs. Summary:

The main responsibility of a Dixie Tech Enrollment Specialist is to promote the school to prospective applicants. They will need to learn details about all Dixie Tech programs and must be able to share this information with prospective students. This will involve traveling to high schools to give presentations, providing campus tours, and meeting with students one-on-one. Enrollment Specialists will be called upon to attend community events, clubs, college, and high school fairs, and other assignments that promote Dixie Technical College.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with and maintain good communication with program instructors.
  • Maintain good communication with High School counselors and other Washington County School District employees.
  • Communicate & calendar with High School counselors to attend College Application Week and Utah Higher Education Day at each High School.
  • Coordinate with High School counselors and teachers to have individual

programs do presentations in target classrooms or student groups.

  • Work with instructors and plan their attendance at High School presentations.
  • Communicate with Dixie Tech faculty and staff about upcoming tours or events that require their involvement.
  • Organize, gather, order food when appropriate, set up, and clean up for events.
  • Present in front of a variety of groups, both big and small
  • Contact new leads and reach out to those potential students who have not started an application yet.
  • Conduct tours of programs and campus.
  • Accurately record interested applicant information into the lead management system promptly
  • Help brainstorm recruiting ideas, media ideas, and swag ideas
  • Attend Recruiting / Marketing staff meetings.
  • Communicate with team members about tours and calendar dates.
  • Ensure that students and staff are treated respectfully and equally without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, age (40 or over), national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, childbirth or pregnancy-related conditions, and actively promote a culture of tolerance, acceptance, and diversity on campus. Report all violations immediately to HR or Student Services

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Six or more months of experience in higher education recruiting preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • Ability to communicate with students, staff, and colleagues; read academic texts and materials, student papers, etc.; operate a personal computer and audio-visual equipment; stand or sit for up to one to three hours at a time; drive to off-site meetings or conferences or to observe student interns; move around campus for classes and meetings.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
