[EdgeConneX is looking for summer interns. This will be a paid, 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026]
Title: Accounting Intern
Pay: $23/hr
The Accounting Intern will provide support to the accounting team by completing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and assisting with accounting research. This position reports to a Senior Accountant but will include active coaching and mentorship from the Senior Director/Assistant Controller.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Gain a broad overview of various aspects of accounting by observing and assisting accounting professionals.
  • Prepare and record journal entries in NetSuite ERP system.
  • Assist with research, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Learning how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company.
  • Assist with reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist team in developing and implementing process improvements, new controls, and developing automation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work both cooperatively with other people and also independently
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience/Education
  • Actively enrolled working towards Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Junior or Senior credit status)
