Overview


Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Computer & Information Systems Manager, Senior in support of our government customer. The Computer & Information Systems Manager (Senior) is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating IT systems support activities and programs in support of the government customer's mission.


This is a hybrid remote work opportunity; the onsite location is Patuxent River, MD.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate IT systems support activities across an enterprise-scale software application environment supporting government operations
  • Analyze IT requirements, budget, personnel resources, and schedules; track program/project status and ensure milestones are met
  • Provide strategic planning for future IT initiatives including modernization to cloud-based environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure)
  • Participate in IT Service Management Office (ITSMO) meetings, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) reviews, and technical and operational process discussions
  • Prepare and present Project Status Reviews (PSRs); develop draft project cost estimates and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates
  • Research and evaluate GOTS, COTS, and proprietary software packages; assess emerging software languages, tools, and methodologies
  • Provide subject matter expertise on highly complex IT issues to managers, developers, and systems analysts
  • Ensure contractor personnel maintain proper IT Level designation, security clearances, and CSWF training in accordance with DoD and Navy policy



Qualifications


All qualifications are required unless specifically marked as preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Master's Degree (MA/MS) in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline or related field
  • More than 10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description
  • Works on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of the program; performs all functional duties independently; may oversee less senior staff
  • Education Substitution (non-degree options): Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; alternatively, an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. An Associate's Degree requirement may be met with a High School Diploma or GED plus two (2) years of additional work experience.

  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required



Required Clearances and Screenings


  • This position is subject to a government background investigation and requires an active SECRET security clearance. Candidates with a current DoD Tier 3/NACLC or equivalent background investigation (e.g., Active Secret) are preferred.
