Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvements

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Examine and identify efficiencies that can be made to existing procedures, with approval from the customer.

Required Skills:

oย ย  U.S. Citizenship

oย ย  Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

oย ย  Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.

oย ย  6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role.

oย ย  Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

oย ย  Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)

Desired Skills:

oย ย  Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD

oย ย  Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration

oย ย  Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments

oย ย  Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

ย 

Required Education:

BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree or HS Diploma and 7+ years lab management or systems administration experience.

Desired Certifications:

- DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II
