Job purpose
Nederlander Producing Company of America, Inc. offers internship sessions that provide an opportunity for students to learn about the workings of a multi-faceted company and to develop professional skills. Interns are required to work 20 hours per week during which time they will acquire hands-on experience.
Broadway Direct, Nederlander's patron facing brand in NYC, was founded in 2012 to help Nederlander's patrons across the country stay connected to Broadway. Now Broadway Direct offers Broadway's first end-to-end patron experience through ticketing, content, and in-theatre initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities
Broadway Direct, is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support our Marketing & Communications team. Responsibilities include but are limited to:
  • Assist with day-to-day marketing operations, including scheduling, proofreading, and coordinating projects with internal teams
  • Brainstorm and develop new campaign ideas that engage audiences and drive brand awareness across digital platforms
  • Draft, edit, and help to publish content articles on our website, from researching topics to formatting and optimizing for web
  • Monitor social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Format and manage weekly engagement reports

Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. Mac proficiency preferred.
  • Acute attention to detail and the ability to juggle several projects at once.
  • Interest in social media, journalism, and Broadway; understanding of how storytelling and entertainment intersect across digital platforms

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Working conditions
The main office is centrally located at in the Theatre District.
Internship weekly work schedule will not exceed 20 hours, with compensation of $17.00 per hour
A standard company confidentiality agreement/NDA is required.
This position would be in a professional high paced office environment.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties related to this job, the employee is regularly required to have visual acuity, talk, and hear while communicating with executives and other staff members. This position requires sitting, standing, bending, and walking. The employee may occasionally be asked to lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds.
