Information Engineer - Level I (Data Migration Engineer)
Position: Fulltime

Job description:
  • Data Migration Design & Execution - Design and build migration solutions for federal acquisition data, including contract and procurement information, mapping complex data structures.
  • ETL Process Development - Develop, test, and deploy robust Extract and Transform processes for structured and unstructured acquisition data using federal-compliant tools and methods.
  • Source-to-Target Mapping - Analyze and document mapping between legacy federal acquisition systems (e.g., FPDS-NG, PRISM, SAM.gov) and target environments, accounting for data quality, normalization, and transformation needs.
  • Compliance & Security - Ensure all migration processes strictly adhere to federal data privacy and security standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST 800-53), providing for audit traceability and compliance reporting.
  • Data Quality Assurance - Identify and resolve data quality issues, perform data cleansing for accuracy and completeness, and support acceptance testing with business users.
  • Collaboration & Documentation - Collaborate closely with federal acquisition SMEs, functional analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and address migration challenges. Maintain clear, comprehensive solution documentation.
  • Performance Monitoring & Tuning - Monitor data migration jobs and optimize for efficient, error-free execution, troubleshooting and addressing technical issues promptly." Expected Deliverables: Input into prime's status reporting processes; weekly timecards Education: BS or equivalent
