CPNYC has successfully developed an innovative model, the only one of its kind in New York City, which co-locates a licensed mental health clinic and children's centers in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, and the South Bronx. Position Overview:TheTalent Acquisition Manageroversees all recruitment and onboarding activitiesunder the direction of theDirector ofHuman Resources.Thisincludes,allrecruitmentefforts for allroles managedviathe Paycom System,ownership of the internship program,conducting offboarding/exit surveys,providingreports,attending all jobfairs, developing internship pipeline, coordinateallinterns'programswith diverse stakeholdersand various internship systems i.e. Handshake etc.Collaboratingwith marketingand development teamto createjob fairflyersand social mediacampaignsand manage allLinkedIn andGlassdoor sitesto ensure positive representation oforganization.TheTalent Acquisition Managerworks collaborativelywith all departmentheadsinmanaging the on-boarding processand off boarding under the direction and guidanceofthe Director, Human Resources.
Essential Job Functions
Recruitment
Serve as the primary recruiter for all agency positions, including internsparticipatingin the CPNYC Internship Program across Brooklyn and the Bronx.
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with department managers to assess workforce needs and implement effective,equitablehiring practices in alignment with CPNYC policies and guidelines.
Manage the full requisition process, ensuring all position requisitions aresubmitted, approved, and updated accuratelyand manage full on-boarding and off boarding process underdirectionof HR Director.
Partner with the HR Director to post positions internally and externally acrossappropriate jobboards and recruitment platformsandscreen resumes and proactively source candidates toidentifyhigh-quality, mission-aligned talent.
Conduct preliminary interviews andmaintaintimely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment processforall roles, W2,1099and Interns.
Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR Director to evaluate candidates and support final hiring decisions.
Maintainaccuraterecruitment tracking tools and reports, including vacancy reports, applicant tracking logs, intern tracking, and other Excel-based recruitment data.
Develop and sustain partnerships with colleges, universities, and workforce development organizations to support the CPNYC Internship Program.
Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community-based recruiting initiatives to attract diverse talent
Onboarding
Execute the Offer of Employment process, including extending verbal offers, preparing contingent offer letters, coordinating reference checks, andinitiatingbackground screenings.
Coordinate onboarding for all new hires and interns, ensuring a consistent, welcoming, and compliant onboarding experience.
Prepare andmaintainnew hire packets,ensuringall forms and compliance documents are current and complete.
Review hire documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to processing.
Create andmaintainemployee personnel filesin accordance withrecord-keeping and confidentiality standards.
Coordinate with IT/technology partners to issue email addresses, Office 365 accounts, and equipment (including laptops, when applicable).
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, includinglogisticssuch as room setup, materials, and meals.
Enter and process new hire information in Paycom HRIS and route appropriately for payroll review.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA)
Research emerging DEIA trends, best practices, and legal considerationsimpactingrecruitment and retention.
Support the development and implementation of an equity framework aligned with the organization's mission, values, and strategic goals.
Implement inclusive recruitment and retention strategies to attract andretaina diverse workforce reflective of the Brooklyn and Bronx communities.
Partner with leadership to execute targeted diversity recruitment initiatives that increase representation.
Support training efforts for hiring managers and HR staff on inclusive hiring, evaluation, and retention practices
Learning & Development
Facilitate and track completion of all required new hire and mandatory trainings.
Support assessment of organizational training needs and collaborate with HRDirectorand leadership to implement consistent development initiatives.
Assistin planning and coordinating agency-wide professional development programs.
Track and manage annual training requirements andcompletionrecords.
Team Member Satisfaction & Retention
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives designed to improve morale, connection, and retention.
Support the creation and facilitation of employee recognition programs.
Assistin developing and administering employee surveys to assess engagement, satisfaction, and organizational culture.
Promote an open-door culture that encourages communication, trust, and collaboration between staff and leadership
Required Knowledge,Skilland Experience
Bachelor's degreeand at leasttwo yearsof administrative experience in human resources, talent acquisitionor benefits fieldrequired,
Proven ability to independently manage multiple administrative tasks and followappropriate workflowpriorities as needed
Experience in addressing customer service requests intimely,accurateand professional manner.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications and capacity to undertake use of other automated human resource database systems, as needed
Ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements
Passion about HR and Talent Acquisition methods
COMPENSATION:
