Job Description We are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support Data Center Infrastructure Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in critical power and cooling systems, capacity planning, infrastructure resiliency, and construction/commissioning for data centers and a proven ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective physical infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and improve the physical infrastructure of data centers, including power, cooling, and structured cabling systems. Lead or contribute to infrastructure engineering and design, interpret design standards, and identify implementation risks. Plan capacity for power, space, and cooling and support DCIM and monitoring initiatives. Support construction, upgrades, and commissioning activities across sites and portfolios. Conduct root-cause failure analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with Real Estate, Critical Systems, Construction, Technology, utilities, vendors, and facility stakeholders. Define, track, and report engineering and operational metrics to support data-driven decisions. Support budgets and cost controls for infrastructure operations and capital projects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of data center critical infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and structured cabling systems, with an engineering or technical discipline background. Experience with critical electrical infrastructure such as utility service, switchgear, generators, UPS, and power distribution. Experience with cooling and mechanical systems supporting data centers. Proven delivery of solutions that meet availability, redundancy, quality, and budget requirements. Experience supporting budgets, vendor cost management, and capital projects for data center initiatives. Demonstrated partnership with Real Estate, Critical Systems, Construction, and Technology teams to deliver outcomes. Track record of leading or managing projects that improve reliability, efficiency, or standardization. Applied knowledge of engineering standards, operational procedures, and continuous improvement practices. Experience working in large, complex, and preferably global organizations, including matrixed environments and distributed teams. Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present technical and operational information to peers and management. Preferred Skills: Typically 5+ years in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines. Experience in data center engineering, construction, upgrades, integration, and commissioning activities. Leadership of teams or workstreams with cross-functional collaboration and vendor influence. Knowledge of risk assessment, availability modeling, and resiliency planning for data centers or colocation environments. Familiarity with DCIM, telemetry, and infrastructure management tools across power, cooling, and environmental monitoring. Experience with site assessments, infrastructure health evaluations, and facility upgrade planning. Ability to interpret and refine minimum technical requirements and standards to meet evolving needs. Working knowledge of root-cause failure analysis for critical systems equipment and incident investigations. Coordination experience with local utilities and AHJs to address site constraints and code compliance. Foundational understanding of network design and layout as it relates to physical deployment.
