RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Robotic Controls Technician.
About the Opportunity:
We are partnering with an advanced manufacturing organization to hire a Controls Technician supporting automation and production systems. This role is a great opportunity for entry level candidates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies.
What You'll Do:
* Support commissioning and maintenance of automated systems
* Troubleshoot PLCs, electrical systems, and equipment
* Work with robotics, conveyors, and automation systems
* Read schematics and system documentation
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* Entry level candidate, or 0-3 years of experience in electrical, automation, or manufacturing
Experience with:
* Basic PLC or controls exposure (school, internship, or work)
* Electrical troubleshooting fundamentals
* Ability to read schematics (or willingness to learn)
* Strong hands-on, problem-solving mindset

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
