Controls Engineer

TXM are recruiting on behalf of a leading Automation and intralogistics provider, as they search for a Controls Engineer to join a state-of-the-art distribution facility in the Lancaster, TX area. As a Controls Engineer, you will be using your skillset to ensure that the fast-paced distribution facility is always running at full capacity by maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting the PLC, HMIs and industrial networks onsite as well as the supporting equipment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults across PLC logic, HMIs, sensors, VFDs and industrial networks such as Profinet.
  • Coordinate with onsite maintenance teams and controls resources to support problem resolution.
  • Providing exceptional maintenance support to the on-site customerโ€™s installed systems.
  • Maintain accurate tickets and technical documentation to support best practise and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to travel, particularly during the first 6-12 months for training and to support other site locations.
Your Experience
  • 2-3 years experience writing code, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining and commissioning PLCs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation such as conveyors, storage & retrieval systems, sortation equipment and small robotics.
  • Experience working within a high pressurized maintenance environment.
  • Experience carrying out Root Cause Analysis.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA.
