Controls Engineer

Compensation: $45-$58/hour DOE

Location: Fort Collins, CO --MUST RESIDE in Northern Colorado

Schedule: Flexible | Approximately 20-40 Hours Per Week Based on Project Load

Position Type: Long-term Contract (W2) with potential for permanent placement. Must be eligible to work in US without sponsorship.

  • Participate in machine testing, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities based on your experience and interests.
  • Support the continued development and expansion of custom manufacturing equipment solutions.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Controls Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience designing, troubleshooting, or supporting industrial machine control systems.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and controls documentation.
  • Experience working with industrial machinery, custom equipment, or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with customers and project stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, project-driven environment where priorities may shift as new opportunities arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
