Job description

Who we are and what we do:

BBR Partners is a boutique wealth management firm providing customized investment strategy and bespoke advice to high-net-worth individuals and families. Established in 2000 by founders who left successful careers in banking and asset management, we aimed to create a new model of service in the industry. We integrate all aspects of a client's financial life to provide investment strategies and comprehensive wealth management guidance. We've grown organically and our entrepreneurial spirit remains the core of our culture 25+ years later.

What does the internship look like?

  • 10-week program including in depth exposure to a specific business unit
  • Mentorship opportunities as you work with a dedicated manager with exposure to senior management
  • Networking events, coffee chats, and lunches with various key players at the firm

What will you do?

Interns will be matched with 1 of the following teams based on interests and availability:

Advisory

  • Assist various advisory teams including business development and advisory services with research and project work
  • Support various wealth management functions which allow us to offer bespoke advisory services to our clients

Investment Research

  • Engage in due diligence and monitoring of external managers through meeting attendance, synthesis of ideas discussed, and analysis of opportunities (both traditional and alternative)
  • Participate in regular internal Research team meetings to discuss investment managers and present due diligence results

Eligibility:

  • Must be a rising university senior (December 2027 or May 2028 graduate)
  • Ability to work full-time in a hybrid office environment, 3-5 days per week in NYC office 

Timing:

  • Submit application no later than July 15, 2026
  • Programming begins on June 7, 2027 and ends on August 13, 2027

Additional Information:

The expected salary for the role will be $35 per hour. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify rate (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
