Job description

BioTechnique is a sterile injectable full service CDMO providing cytotoxic and therapeutic sterile injectable fill-finish services. From IND applications through commercial scale production, we provide formulation and compounding, fill-finish, and lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables. BioTechnique utilizes our team's expertise to create a process design for our clients' products that best suits their needs.

Your Role The Microbiology Technician supports BioTechnique's Quality Control operations by executing microbiological and environmental monitoring activities in a sterile manufacturing setting.

Technicians perform sampling, microbial analysis, and documentation in compliance with GMP and industry standards. Follow aseptic gowning procedures and wear required PPE in classified cleanroom environments Independently conducts routine testing and monitoring activities; supports compendial compliance Execute microbial testing and environmental monitoring of product samples, utilities, surfaces, air, and personnel according to SOPs and compendial standards Prepare and maintain media, sampling kits, and test solutions per SOPs and compendial requirements; support sterilization practices as applicable Operate biological safety cabinets and laboratory instrumentation while following aseptic techniques Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory spaces and support equipment maintenance and calibration Document results accurately in validated systems (ACE, LIMS) and maintain data integrity Participate in periodic lab and equipment cleaning and monthly tasks Support cross-functional collaboration with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Facilities Contribute to inventory management and reagent tracking Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related scientific discipline, Microbiology preferred.

1-3 years of experience in QC Microbiology function within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience in aseptic manufacturing environment is preferred. Understanding of aseptic technique, processes, and compliance.

Understanding of industry regulations and compliance. Experience with disinfectant efficacy studies and facility validation is highly preferred. Experience working in bio safety cabinets.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Must be authorized to work in the U.S No C2C at this time.
