Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays: 8:00 am - 4:30pm


Cooper Clinic is looking to add an additional PRN Registered Dietitian to our already thriving team! The Registered Dietitian is responsible for patient nutritional evaluation and education, as well as assisting with development and review of nutritional materials, contributing articles for web sites, magazines and other publications, public speaking, etc.


Primary Responsibilities:

Perform and interpret Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) testing.

Providing nutrition assessment and care planning for patients.

Ability to collect pertinent information and materials related to patient care including but not limited to medical history, clinical data, 3-day food record, etc. prior to consultations, analyze the information and draws appropriate conclusions using evidence based guidelines.

Represents clinic and nutrition department with media interviews.

Develops, updates, and edits department education and marketing materials.

Requirements

The ideal Outpatient Registered Dietitian candidate will possess:


2 years of post-internship clinical experience required.

Master's degree or advanced certification: CDCES, CSSD, CSOWM, etc. preferred.

Must enjoy a fast-paced environment, provide patient-centered care and counseling, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change, exhibit high level of motivation and drive to stay current with nutrition trends and research, work well in a team environment, have strong communication skills: interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
