St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking motivated, patientfocused Clinical Dietitians to join our dynamic Clinical Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will provide evidencebased nutritional assessment, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy to patients across diverse inpatient and/or outpatient settings.

You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care teams to develop individualized nutrition care plans that optimize health outcomes and support SPHP's mission of providing exceptional, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for assigned patient populations.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans.

  • Provide ongoing medical nutrition therapy in alignment with current clinical guidelines.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.

  • Document all assessments, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on dietary recommendations and lifestyle modifications.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

  • Serve as a resource for staff on nutritionrelated questions and best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.

  • Completion of an ACENDaccredited dietetic internship.

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

  • New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) or eligibility to obtain upon hire.

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills.

Preferred:

  • Inpatient clinical experience (acute care, critical care, or specialty units).

  • Experience with EPIC or another EMR system.

  • Specialty certifications (CNSC, CDCES, CSR, etc.).

$29.00-41.40

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
