A member of Catholic Health, Good Samaritan University Hospital, is a non-profit 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health. With almost 900 physicians on staff, and a level II Trauma Center, we care for well over 100,000 patients annually across the south shore of Long Island. 10K Sign on Bonus - New Hires Only
Night Shift 12am - 8am
Responsibilities:
  • Performing a variety of clinical tests.
  • Perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests.
  • Obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school required.
  • Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required.
  • Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and/or microbiology required.
  • Hospital experience desired.
  • Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills essential.

Posted Salary Range
USD $52.00 - USD $65.50 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
