Duration: 6+ Months

Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

A Business Systems Analyst (BSA) gathers, analyzes, and documents business needs, acting as a bridge between stakeholders (users, system owner, etc.) and provides requirements that will be translated into functional system designs, ensuring solutions align with business goals through activities like interviews, process modeling, testing, and documentation for new IT systems.   They translate complex business problems into technical requirements, work with IT Engineers, Project Managers, Stakeholders, overseeing training, and ensure that new systems enhance productivity and support department objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering Requirements: Produce needs from stakeholders via interviews, workshops, surveys, and analyzing current systems.
  • Analysis & Documentation: Analyze business processes, document requirements (functional, non-functional), and create models (like use cases).
  • Liaison: Communicate between business users, developers, designers, and project managers, resolving conflicts.
  • Validation & Testing: Participate in reviewing, validating, and testing new systems to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Traceability: Maintain requirement traceability matrices to track needs through the project lifecycle.
