Education & Experience
Required Education:
• BS or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Required Experience:
• No prior pharmaceutical industry experience required.
• Academic laboratory experience, undergraduate or graduate research, or internships may substitute for industry experience.
Preferred Experience:
• Academic or internship exposure to HPLC.
• Chemistry training and experience as a pharma intern in an analytical lab would be ideal.
• Introductory knowledge of GMP concepts through coursework, training, or internships.
• Familiarity with chromatography data systems such as Empower or ChemStation.
• Exposure to analytical techniques such as dissolution testing, GC, or Karl Fischer titration.
Core Technical Competencies
• Fundamental understanding of analytical and scientific principles.
• Ability to follow SOPs, test methods, and laboratory safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Willingness to learn GMP documentation and electronic laboratory notebook practices.
Software & Digital Tools
Required:

Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of senior scientific staff, the contractor will:
• Perform GMP and non GMP analytical testing on pharmaceutical drug products
• Support method development, method optimization, and method validation activities.
• Accurately document experimental work in electronic laboratory notebooks in compliance with data integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation and reports.
• Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
• Learn and adhere to laboratory safety procedures; may support work with Beta Lactam and OEB 4-5 compounds under appropriate supervision and training
