Job description

WingSwept is an award-winning, employee-owned technology service provider seeking to add a full-time Accounting Associate to our growing team. Compensation for the Accounting Associate position includes a competitive base pay and excellent benefits, including employee stock ownership, profit sharing, and a fully-vested 401(k) with matching contributions.
Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to our VP of Finance and work closely with the rest of the finance team. Responsibilities include:
  • Read and effectively interpret general business documentation for data entry
    • Accounts Payable: entry of expense reports, vendor invoices, and credit card charges
    • Accounts Receivable: entry of receivables
  • Special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Evidence of ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Some experience with accounting software required; Intacct preferred
  • Associate's or higher degree in accounting preferred
  • Some accounting and/or business experience preferred
  • Evidence of understanding accounting principles
  • Competent in math and written communication skills
  • Firm grasp of technology and how to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Must be able to work a regular schedule 40 hours per week in our office in Garner, NC
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
