Primary Purpose:
An early career administrator who performs well defined operational tasks under guidance. Handles basic provisioning, monitoring, and ticket execution while building troubleshooting and change discipline skills.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations includes Salisbury, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine configuration tasks (e.g., port turns, basic ACL changes) under supervision.
  • Review alerts and tickets; triage issues and gather diagnostics for escalation.
  • Fulfill standard service requests (guest Wi Fi accounts, DHCP reservations, DNS entries) accurately.
  • Follow incident/change procedures and maintain precise ticket notes.
  • Update inventory/CMDB records and assist with device labeling and documentation.
  • Validate post change checks and perform basic connectivity tests.
  • Shadow on call rotations and participate in post incident reviews to learn patterns.
  • Practice basic scripting and command line techniques to streamline routine work.
  • Support shipment/RMA coordination and site turn up checklists.
  • Adhere to security and compliance guidelines at all times.
  • May be called upon to support critical escalations and must be available during urgent IT incidents as needed.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of work experience.
  • 0-1 years of experience in IT infrastructure or storage support (internships or equivalent projects welcome).
  • Working knowledge of SAN/NAS fundamentals, fabrics, and storage provisioning.
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools, documentation practices, and issue resolution.
  • Attention to detail, strong follow through, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Homelab or capstone projects (small campus/WLAN deployments, SD WAN labs).
  • Entry certifications (CCNA, Network+, Aruba/Juniper Associate) or progress toward them.

Salary Range NC: $63,440 - $95,160
