As a Regional IT Support Specialist, APAC, you will serve as a trusted technology partner for Potter Global Technologies employees and offices across our international locations. Our team is looking for someone who is proactive, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with US-based IT and other technology teams to support locations with varying levels of on-site IT resources. In this role, you will help ensure employees have access to the devices, applications, connectivity, and collaboration tools they need to work effectively from the office, home, customer locations, and while traveling, while also resolving escalated issues, coordinating equipment deployments, and supporting the implementation of company technology standards.What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT support within the APAC region. 
  • Provide in-person support for employees in the regional office and remote support for traveling, home-based, and field sales employees. 
  • Troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, docking stations, monitors, printers, peripherals, and other end-user technology. 
  • Diagnose and resolve Windows, Office 365, application, account, and connectivity issues. 
  • Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other company-approved productivity and collaboration applications. 
  • Troubleshoot VPN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, authentication, and remote-access issues. 
  • Assist traveling employees with technology issues affecting their ability to work from hotels, customer locations, home offices, and other remote environments. 
  • Provide responsive support to sales employees where technology interruptions may directly affect customer meetings, presentations, or business activity.  
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. 
  • Coordinate equipment shipments to and from remote employees throughout the region. 
  • Maintain accurate records of assigned hardware, inventory, accessories, and equipment lifecycle. 
  • Prepare technology for new hires and ensure equipment is recovered and processed appropriately during employee departures. 
  • Coordinate warranty repairs, replacements, and vendor support when necessary. 
  • Follow Corporate IT standards for device configuration, security, software installation, and asset management. 
  • Perform new hire orientation on first day of employment.
What You Bring

Experience That Drives Success

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, field support, or a similar end-user technology role. 
  • Strong experience supporting Windows laptops and Office 365 environments. 
  • Experience providing remote technical support to geographically dispersed users. 
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity. 
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, printers, peripherals 
  • Experience with ticketing, remote-support, and endpoint-management tools. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve problems. 
  • Excellent customer-service and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar industry certifications. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or another endpoint-management platform. 
  • Experience supporting a mobile sales or field-based workforce. 
  • Experience working within a global Corporate IT organization.

Location

This is a full-time position, on-site at our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
