Job description

We are seeking an Assistant To EVP - Americas to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Responsibilities:

ASSISTANT TO CEO:

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
  • Plan and schedule appointments, travels and events.
  • Greet and assist onsite guests.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls.
  • Develop and implement organized filing systems.
  • Perform all other office tasks.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT ASSISTANT:

  • Create sales and purchase orders on SAP platform
  • Dispatch customer orders through close interaction with our 3PL warehouse representatives
  • Obtain quotations from freight forwarders to import material from Europe and China into our warehouse in NJ
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints over phone / emails
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, office administration or other related fields
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft office. SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
