International Treaty and Agreement SME, Lead

The Opportunity:

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and develop ing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a seasoned research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. As a member of our strategic deterrence and nuclear integration team, you’ll lead the analysis and coordination of our client's offi cia l policy and position statements related to international treaties and agreements.

In this role, you'll be responsible for drafting and assessing treaties and arms control agreements that directly influence the type, location, and deployment of systems. You won’t go at it alone, you’ll lead a team to perform treaty impact analysis and assess implications for defense operations andnational security policies .

Use your spe cia lized expertise in international treaties and agreements to enhance our client's compliance with international agreements, arms control, sharpendeterrence mission readiness, and deliver strategic insights in response to dynamic global threats.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in international treaties, arms control agreements
  • 5+ years of experience in arms control policy making, compliance,inspections, and training
  • Experience providing executive-level materialssuch as briefings, correspondence, and talking points, for senior leadership discussions or decision-making processes
  • Ability to support process improvement initiatives and defense acquisition activities in accordance with treaty requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy , or Strategic and Defense Studies

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience leading and participating in inspections, audits, and compliance training related to arms control and treaty obligations
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting international treaties and arms control agreements, ensuring compliance and alignment with Air Force operations.
  • Experience performing treaty impact assessments to inform defense strategies and national security policy analysis
  • Experience advising senior leadership on policy develop ment, compliance issues, and emerging threats relevant to arms control
  • Knowledge of Air Staff, Joint Staff, and other senior leadership structures and responsibilities related to treaty requirements
  • Possession of strong analytical skills
  • Possession of excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Arms control, export control, and treaty compliance certification s
  • Completion of international law, defense acquisition, and process improvement met hodologies training

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
