Job description

As Associate Manager of Product Development at Epicor, you will be a hands-on technical leader supporting the Epicor Identity Platform while managing and developing a team of product developers. You will balance people leadership with active technical contribution, helping guide technical direction, partnering closely with product management, and collaborating with customers and ERP partners. This role combines software engineering leadership, cloud identity platforms, and customer-facing delivery to support secure, scalable authentication and authorization services across Epicor products.
What you will be doing:
  • Support the technical direction of the Epicor Identity Platform, contributing hands-on development and conducting pull request reviews

  • Set objectives for the product development team, assign and prioritize work, and track progress across delivery milestones

  • Mentor and support software engineers through code reviews, coaching, and ongoing performance feedback

  • Partner with product management to help define and execute the Identity Platform roadmap

  • Collaborate with Epicor ERP partners and customers to support identity provider integrations and customer adoption

  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure initiatives, including migration from Azure Service Fabric to shared Kubernetes environments

  • Track team progress and prepare clear delivery and status updates for leadership

What you will likely bring:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET development, including building scalable RESTful APIs using Entity Framework or EF Core

  • 5+ years of experience delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Service Fabric and Cosmos DB

  • Experience working with identity and access management platforms, including Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory)

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with experience resolving complex system and performance issues

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

  • Proficiency with Git, modern branching strategies, Agile or Scrum development methodologies, and secure coding practices

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience supporting infrastructure migration from Azure Service Fabric to Kubernetes

  • Hands-on experience delivering customer-facing identity integrations and working with third-party identity providers
