Job Summary
The International Student Applications and Programs Student Assistant will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain budget for events per semester.
• Create on and off campus events.
• Ability to work effectively with on campus partners.
• Front desk reception (answer emails, walk-ins, phone calls for ISAP).
• Monitor ISAP email.
• Meet with and collaborate with the International Student Club.
• Manage student lists and emails.
• Prepare materials needed for events and meetings.
• Prepare and participate in ISAP events.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average.
• Must have and maintain a current, up-to-date driver's license and have the ability to become an approved UWG driver.
• Ability to drive a 12-passenger vehicle to events off campus.
• Professional and service-oriented attitude.
• Flexible Schedule

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
• Drive a 12-passenger vehicle for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Office experience and a good understanding of marketing material creation.
• Experience planning and budgeting events.
