Leidos' Defense Systems Sector is seeking an International Program Coordinator to support our global defense portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned program management professional with international experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment.
In this role, you will lead and manage complex international defense programs, interfacing government clients, foreign partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines and geographies. You will own program scope, schedule, and budget while driving results across international boundaries.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of international program goals and objectives.
  • Ensure all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints, with direct P&L responsibility.
  • Interface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, foreign government representatives, and support personnel across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Lead coordination of government acquisition activities in international environments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and agreements.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership, both internal and client-facing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international partners and customers, leveraging multilingual capabilities to facilitate effective communication.
  • Travel internationally to support program execution, customer engagement, and partner coordination.
  • Recommend and implement new solutions, processes, policies, and standards in support of the program's strategic objectives.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, International Relations, Systems Engineering, or a related field) and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience in program management - OR - Master's degree (preferably in Business Administration, International Relations, Systems Engineering, or a related field) and 6-10 years of prior relevant experience in program management
  • Demonstrated experience with the U.S. Government acquisition process, including FAR/DFARS compliance and international acquisition frameworks
  • Proven experience managing programs with international scope, including foreign military sales (FMS), direct commercial sales (DCS), or other international defense programs
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership on matters of strategic importance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Multilingual proficiency required.
  • Must be a US citizen possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally a minimum of 70% Must be a resident ofHuntsville, AL or willing to locate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Top Secret/SCI
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management and Security Cooperation programs
  • Familiarity with NATO standards, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFAs), or other international defense frameworks
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and management
  • Prior experience living or working abroad in a defense or government contracting context
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond German and Japanese

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
