$82,500 - $110,00 (USCORE) 

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan.

Introduction: 

International Paper is looking for a Technical Services Representative/Mechanical Packaging Service Technician to be based in Plant City, FL. 

The Job You Will Perform: 

  • Working in a safe manner, responsible for effectively troubleshooting, diagnosing, adjusting and repairing mechanical packaging equipment at customers.

  • Performing preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions and repositioning components.

  • Repair machinery in a field environment.

  • Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and other repairs and installations as necessary.

  • Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork.

  • Trouble shooting and solving problems.

  • Coordinates appropriate course of action with product and equipment issues in strawberry segment customers.

  • Leads the strawberry segment MPS technicians to help overserve our key produce customers.

  • Acts as a technical expert in troubleshooting the technical aspects of product performance through mechanical packaging equipment. 

  • Activities involve visiting customer facilities to identify and resolve technical product manufacturing issues and the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment. 

  • Serves as a resource for other internal departments and may be sought out by others for advice and solutions.

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years' maintenance experience with packaging applications and equipment

  • Maintenance or engineering education or completion of advanced trade certification training is a plus

  • Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus
