The Opportunity
Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk providesfriendly, courteous and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, cleanshelves, and display cases. Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays.Works with customers to take special orders as well as with the Meat Cutter todetermine which items need to be cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., Bend, standand stoop for prolonged periods.
The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocerystore, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements suchas lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditoryrequirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification isrequired for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
