Job Description
Provide advanced critical care and emergency medical support within a fast-paced international healthcare environment serving U.S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary emergency response teams, this Critical Care Paramedic role combines high-acuity patient care with rapid clinical assessment, advanced intervention, and collaborative care coordination across emergency response and inter-facility transport operations.
This position offers the opportunity to manage complex medical and trauma cases while practicing at an advanced clinical level in a highly collaborative operational setting.
Location: Iraq
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advanced life support and critical care interventions during emergency responses and inter-facility transports across a broad range of medical and traumatic presentations.
  • Assess, stabilize, and manage critically ill or injured patients using advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and resuscitative care techniques.
  • Operate and interpret specialized critical care equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and 12-lead ECGs to support patient treatment and transport decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support continuity of care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient clinical environments.
  • Support operational readiness through accurate documentation, equipment management, supply oversight, and participation in ongoing training and clinical competency activities.
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Certification from an accredited Paramedic program with current unrestricted U.S. Paramedic licensure and National Registry EMT-P certification.
  • Current CCP-C or FP-C certification required.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and advanced trauma certification (PHTLS, ITLS, TCCC, or equivalent).
  • Recent high-acuity paramedic or critical care transport experience with advanced emergency response responsibilities.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
Preferred
  • Prior experience supporting military, government, or international healthcare operations.
