Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate behavioral health services while working alongside multidisciplinary healthcare teams dedicated to high-quality patient care.
This opportunity offers the ability to practice within a collaborative international healthcare setting while supporting emotional wellness, behavioral health stabilization, and continuity of care in a professionally supported environment.
Location: Iraq
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to patient needs.
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and support ongoing care coordination across multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Respond to acute behavioral health crises and provide stabilization, intervention, and support for patients experiencing emotional or psychological distress.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, psychologists, nurses, and operational teams to support integrated patient care and continuity of services.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Support behavioral health education, patient advocacy, and community outreach initiatives that promote mental wellness and available support resources.

Qualifications
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted Clinical Social Worker license and current BLS certification.
  • 3+ years of recent clinical social work experience, including recent hands-on practice within the past year.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting military, government, or international healthcare operations.
  • Prior experience in behavioral health crisis intervention or multidisciplinary clinical settings.
