Field Service Engineer – Industrial Power Systems

Houston, TX (National Travel Required)


A global leader in industrial uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support mission-critical power infrastructure across the United States.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a specialized team supporting heavy industrial environments including refineries, chemical plants, and offshore facilities. About the Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting industrial UPS systems deployed in critical infrastructure environments. You will serve as a technical expert in the field while helping strengthen relationships with key industrial clients.

This is a national travel role based in the Houston area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission and start up industrial UPS systems
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Support warranty and technical service needs
  • Provide on-site customer support in heavy industrial facilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams domestically and internationally
  • Participate in factory training at global headquarters

Travel

  • National travel required
  • Must be comfortable flying

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience working with industrial electrical or power systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical environments
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

  • Eligible to obtain a TWIC card
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid passport (or ability to obtain one) for international travel
