Job Title Office Engineer - International Location Montgomery, AL, on-site *This position offers a path to full time international field staff employment upon successful completion of 1โ€2 years in the home office* Responsibilities Assist the Technical Coordinator in reviewing and processing project construction submittals across all disciplines and offices Ensure completeness and correctness of project submittals, reviewing for compliance with specifications and contract requirements Review and process Request for Design Clarifications (RFDC) and Requests for Information (RFI) and other office engineering activities as directed Review construction submittal packages prepared by procurement and site staff to confirm compliance with contract documents Collaborate with procurement staff to resolve issues with nonconforming submittals Track and ensure timely submission (and resubmission) of construction submittals to maintain project schedule Assist in the resolution of owner or AE comments on reviewed submittal packages Assist in the review and resolution of RFDC and RFI issues Assist with tracking and processing of change orders, RFPs, and REAs Maintain the master drawing revision log and notify project personnel of document updates Perform other duties as assigned Work conditions: office setting, occasional travel required, full time Reporting structure: Technical Coordinator International Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent technical and timeโ€management skills Strong clientโ€relations skills Ability to develop a working knowledge of all applicable Caddell processes and procedures Ability to communicate and work with multinational and multidisciplinary employees Excellent organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Minimum highโ€school diploma/GED and four years' experience in the construction industry required Fourโ€year degree in engineering, construction, architecture, or management preferred Current clearance, or ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required While the salary range is typically between $49,100 and $73,600 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
