Job Description

Two main types of activities are offered in this position

1. Client solutions and operations responsible

Reporting to Customer, he/she will be involved in managing real time big data test remotely. This test will be carried out by customer in different Europe locations (Austria, Spain, Norway, Finland) 
From this position he/she will be in charge of the execution of projects and will act as interface between the client and the Organization with the aim to guarantee the achievement of external client's technical requirements.

This role will be based in Spain, but occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

In particular, he/she will be in charge of the following responsibilities and duties:
Study of client's test requirements and procedures
Scheduling vehicle data loggers installation and technical support

Generation of the project structure in the tools of the Organization
Co-ordinate the test set up (drivers, instrumentation etc), to conduct the tests and ensure timely report out
Plan and conduct the testing activities in accordance with test procedures
Establish and keep contact with clients permanently during the project in order to know their needs and to foresee future actions while identifying final requirements demanded by the client.

2. Brake emissions test engineering

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be involved in projects related with the measurement of particles from non-exhaust sources, mainly brakes. The activities to be carried out will consist in different testing activities in the field of particle emissions coming from vehicle brakes, specially supporting the projects with german customers

Responsibilities:

  • Needed to support a Project Manager with projects related to non-exhaust particle measurements.
  • Schedule and organization of testing projects.
  • Project Management.
  • Preparation of quotation for the customers.
  • Check, validation of results and reporting of the projects.
  • Presentations (commercials and projects) to the customers, specially German customers
  • Follow up and control of the projects.
  • Revision of technical requirements.
  • Organization of technicians and mechanics activities on the facilities
Qualifications

Education:

  • Engineer Mechanic or electronic or similar

Profile:

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry.
  • Ability to understand and implement test procedures and test specifications
  • Knowledge in the operation of data acquisition systems
  • Knowledge in big data will be valuable
  • Ability to team working, team management and communication
  • Ability to hold fluent and fruitful technical communication with the clients
  • Previous experience in project management will be valuable
  • Availability for travel worldwide
  • Previous experience on particle testing measurements (exhaust or non-exhaust) are valuable
  • Self motivated
  • Know how about instrumentation equipment are valuable, specially related to particle measurements.

Language:

  • Fluent in English and German
  • French valuable
