Job Description


We are seeking an Electrical Harnesses Installation Designer to support the design and integration of electrical systems for our aircraft programs. The role focuses on wiring definition, harness design, and system integration, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development, installation, and testing phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical integration activities based on the aircrafts existing wiring configuration and the defined conceptual architecture to ensure coherent system implementation.
  • Develop and release wiring diagrams, harness definitions, and electrical installation data.
  • Define routing, segregation, and minimum separation distances based on signal types.
  • Apply best practices for EMI/EMC protection and wiring installation.
  • Conduct wire and cable sizing calculations considering operational and environmental factors.
  • Select cables, connectors, backshells, and electrical components in accordance with aerospace standards.
  • Generate manufacturing work orders based on the released electrical design to ensure their correct implementation on the aircraft.
  • Support harness manufacturing, aircraft installation, final assembly, and functional tests.
  • Conduct trade studies, cost analysis, and propose efficient, compliant design solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Control the configuration of electrical design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and correct release management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and testing teams to ensure proper system integration.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Electronics, or related).
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, including wiring diagrams, harnesses, or electrical installations.
  • Experience with SeeXP and electrical integration CAD tools for harness and installation design.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and requirements.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Solid knowledge of aerospace electrical standards.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree or higher in a related engineering field.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 Electrical (EHI/EWR).
  • Experience with wiring design tools (SEEElectrical, Creo Schematics, Visio, Draw.io, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and systemintegration skills.
  • Experience in:
    • Signal integrity, grounding, and analog troubleshooting
    • Instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems
    • Communication protocols: RS422, ARINC429, CANBus
    • Power supply interfaces and protection principles
  • Knowledge of HIL/SIL environments (aerospace, automotive, robotics, etc.).
  • Experience with embedded systems or realtime systems is a plus.
  • Programming experience (C++ and/or Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in fastpaced, multicultural, crossfunctional teams.
