Responsibilities
  • Act as a customer‑facing System Architect, bridging advanced R&D innovation with real‑world customer applications in test and measurement
  • Lead architecture, design, and optimization of complex measurement systems across RF, high‑speed digital, and physical domains
  • Apply deep measurement science expertise to develop and improve methodologies, including rigorous uncertainty analysis and error budgeting
  • Evaluate customer environments and design end‑to‑end system solutions integrating instrumentation, software, automation, and data workflows
  • Drive system‑level innovation by translating R&D concepts into scalable, deployable customer solutions
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, including direct engagement with executive stakeholders to influence strategy and technology adoption
  • Design and implement advanced automated test systems leveraging mechatronics, control systems, and instrumentation
  • Design, integrate, and optimize combined environmental test systems, including RF over‑the‑air chambers, thermal chambers, and vibration test setups, ensuring accurate measurement performance under real‑world operating conditions
  • Collaborate with customers to define and implement multi‑physics test environments (RF, thermal, and mechanical stress) and ensure proper synchronization of instrumentation, control systems, and data acquisition across environmental domains
  • Utilize and recommend Keysight (or equivalent) test and measurement solutions to meet high‑performance application needs
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, requirements definition, and solution proposals for complex customer challenges
  • Collaborate closely with product development, R&D, and solutions engineering teams to align roadmap and customer needs
  • Develop system architectures leveraging CAD, MES, and system‑level design principles
  • Drive continuous improvement in measurement accuracy, repeatability, throughput, and system efficiency
  • Support onsite customer engagements, system integration, and deployment activities, with 25 percent or greater travel required
  • Ensure all solutions comply with ITAR and export control regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master’s degree or higher strongly preferred
  • 10 or more years of experience in R&D, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Engineering within test and measurement or related domains
  • Recognized expertise in measurement science, including uncertainty analysis, calibration principles, and system validation
  • Proven ability to architect and improve complex measurement systems across hardware, software, and automation layers
  • Strong background in mechatronic systems, including integration of sensors, actuators, motion control, and instrumentation
  • Hands‑on experience with Keysight test and measurement equipment or similar industry‑leading platforms preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with combined environmental testing, including integration and use of RF chambers (anechoic/OTA), thermal cycling systems, and vibration platforms
  • Strong understanding of how environmental factors (temperature, vibration, electromagnetic conditions) impact measurement accuracy, system performance, and calibration, with demonstrated ability to design test solutions that account for these variables
  • Experience with CAD tools, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and system‑level architecture and design methodologies
  • Demonstrated success in highly customer‑facing roles, including direct engagement with senior technical and executive stakeholders
  • Strong ability to translate advanced R&D concepts into practical, customer‑ready solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative problem‑solving skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and leading highly technical discussions across diverse engineering teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25 percent or more
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to work in compliance with ITAR requirements
