ABOUT PLM Fleet

The cold supply chain is rapidly evolving from farm to table with the use of innovative technology solutions such as leading-edge sensors, Telematics, IoT and a cloud-based technology platform, providing new opportunities for growth and innovation. PLM has 30 locations across the US with headquarters based in Newark, New Jersey’s Gateway Center. We are seeking creative, flexible, take-charge individuals that can generate customer value through process simplification and high impact digital interactions resulting in greater productivity across the cold supply chain.


Summary

Responsible for managing the branch, agent, and parking locations, operations and maintenance employees, rental fleet, rental maintenance expenses, vendor relationships, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and P&L results for assigned geographic territory.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable rental growth, meet rental on hire goal, develop customer relationships, and fulfill rental opportunities in their assigned geographic territory.
  • Lead and manage the overall branch operations and P&L responsibility for assigned territory.
  • Assist and lead the maintenance activities in your assigned territory.
  • Achieve rental readiness, manage inventory, and implement digital transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct outbound calls to existing customers and prospects, schedule customer visits to drive rental business, and help direct rental activity in assigned territory.


Knowledge And Skills Requirements

  • 5 years of managerial experience
  • Rental and leasing experience, fleet management background, and proven customer interaction skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Travel within assigned territory and occasional overnight stay required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize various responsibilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite


Education And Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree or combination of experience and formal education preferred.
  • Multi-branch operations management experience preferred.
  • P&L management experience.
