Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Parts Data Management Specialist, you will manage and maintain parts data, SAP material masters, and bill of material (BOM) structures that support AGT parts engineering operations. You will serve as a key resource for part creation, extensions, revisions, and data integrity across SAP, PLM, and related business processes. A typical day may include handling requests from multiple stakeholders, validating part history and documentation, executing updates, and resolving data issues. You will work closely with supply chain, procurement, engineering, and operations to ensure changes are properly assessed, accurately implemented, and aligned with downstream business needs.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Review, validate, and execute part extensions, revisions, updates, and related change-control activities.
  • Create, revise, and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) and material master data to support accurate downstream execution.
  • Research part history, documentation, and system records to resolve data questions and support business decisions.
  • Perform data validation, identify and resolve errors, and proactively maintain data integrity across SAP, PLM, and related tools.
  • Support data maintenance, migration activities, and process adherence for parts engineering operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Mods & Ups, New Units, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and operations to assess and implement part-data changes.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Management, or a related technical/business field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with parts data, SAP material master data, BOM structures, engineering documentation, supply chain data, or related business processes.
  • Experience with SAP, PLM/Teamcenter, or similar enterprise systems; S/4HANA experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage ad hoc requests in a global, cross-functional environment.
