Job description

Job Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Project Manager, International Programs to join our growing team in New York City. Reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of projects within our international portfolio, specifically focusing on Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Funded (FMF) programs, and International Partnerships.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and logistics teams to ensure milestones are met on time, within scope, and on budget. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, an understanding of defense procurement processes, will help pursue new opportunities, and foster existing customer relationships.
Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of International Partner Programs, ensuring successful contract and program delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear objectives and ensuring high-quality, on-time completion of all project requirements and deliverables
  • Manage all essential project data and documentation, including comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risk management plans, and communication plans
  • Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement within project workflows
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key international stakeholders, including foreign military officials, reseller partners, and internal teams
  • Facilitate clear, consistent, and proactive communication across all project stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries, expectations, and issue resolution
  • Prepare and present regular, concise project status reports and updates to the leadership team, Government Program Managers, Foreign Military leadership, and other company stakeholders
  • Document all project decisions, changes, and lessons learned for future reference
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with International Partners to strategically expand the global reach and adoption of our Wave Relay MANET solutions
  • Collaborate closely with International Partners on joint projects, providing necessary support and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic goals
  • Partner with Account Managers to prepare timely and accurate responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and other relevant business opportunities
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of network and communications systems, specifically as they relate to Wave Relay MANET technology
  • Stay informed on Government procurement methods and international trade regulations relevant to foreign military sales and partnerships

Job Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Project Management Professional certifications (PMP), or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or similar fields, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing technical projects, technical writing, and proposal writing
  • Experience with network and communications systems
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous tasks and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with of U.S. and international defense regulations and policies such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Must have or be able to obtain United States Secret security clearance
  • Willingness to travel 25% or as required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in international project management, specifically in Foreign Military Sales and defense procurement.
  • PMP, CSM, CAPM or other similar project centric certifications
  • CCNA, or other similar technical certifications
  • Wireless networking or tactical networking experience
  • Master's degree in business administration, project management, or a similar field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, such as Infor Clous Suite Industrial (Infor CSI)

The base pay for this role can vary from $133,000 to $166,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
