Position Summary:
This position is for a part-time Field Technician for our Orlando FL location. A Field Technician is needed to support the remediation / treatment system operation and maintenance and execute environmental sampling at various locations.
Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions:
  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with project management team, regulatory agency representatives, and end client representatives.
  • Regularly participate in the daily operation and maintenance of remediation treatment systems.
  • Collect groundwater, soil, sediment and surface water samples following federal, state and local standard operating procedures.
  • Work independently, in and out of town on extended deployments, on weekends, holidays and outside normal workday hours, as warranted.
  • Manage subconsultants / subcontractors associated monitoring well installations, geophysical surveys, and general construction activities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates of Science degree, or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' industry related experience.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing is mandatory.
  • Current 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard training certification.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed with environmental sampling.
