Position Summary:
The Bartender position is responsible for delivering the highest caliber of customer service while serving food and beverages to guests during events within the Theatre.
Requirements
Major Areas of Responsibility/Essential Function:
โ€ข Welcome guests to the Theatre in an positive, professional, and friendly manner
โ€ข Set up and break down of assigned bar location
โ€ข Make, serve, and sell beverages in a quick and courteous manner
โ€ข Thanks guests after each transaction
โ€ข Takes inventory of product at bar location at the beginning and end of each event
โ€ข Accurately rings in all items sold and takes payment from customers
โ€ข Adheres to the theatre's Food & Beverage policies as outlined in our handbook
โ€ข Checks customer's identification when selling alcoholic beverages
โ€ข Stocks bar with product needed at the start of each event
โ€ข Completes assigned opening and closing sidework
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:
โ€ข Knowledge and experience bartending within a large Theatre or high volume environment
โ€ข Must be receptive to working in inclement weather and extreme temperatures
โ€ข Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend and Holiday hours
โ€ข Must work successfully in a fast paced and loud environment
โ€ข Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
โ€ข Required to stand for long periods of time; ability to bend, lift, and walk up and down stairs
โ€ข Excellent verbal and communication skills
โ€ข Shows strong spirit of optimism and collaboration
โ€ข Basset Certified
