  • Act as a thought leader and partner as Bose transitions toward a platform based operating model led by the Bose Audio Lab.
  • Represent the OTG DSP team as part of an enterprise-wide audio technology center of excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence and plan technology development priorities aligned to product and business needs.
  • Build a strong, tightly coupled working relationship with embedded firmware teams to enable shared ownership of system level architecture and delivery.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, research, user experience, and peer engineering leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Advocate effectively for DSP priorities and tradeoffs across disciplines and organizations.

People Leadership and Team Enablement

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of experienced DSP engineers.
  • Manage day-to-day priorities, dependencies, and tradeoffs to keep the team focused on the most important work.
  • Provide cover for the team by removing obstacles, managing escalations, and absorbing organizational complexity to enable focus on core technical work.

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience in DSP, audio, or related domains.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing technical staff, with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Strong background in DSP engineering for consumer audio products, including technologies such as audio playback, noise cancellation or noise management, and voice pickup.
  • Demonstrated experience leading experienced technical teams through complex delivery, prioritization, and organizational change.

  • Proven ability to influence technical direction across disciplines and organizational boundaries.
  • Experience working with or alongside machine learning systems applied to audio or signal processing, including integration of ML-based approaches into production DSP systems.
