Job description

IT Project Manager (Level 1 - Independent Contractor - Full-time)
Are you a natural born project manager? Do you enjoy building consensus and leading people? Are you up for the challenge of functioning efficiently through the many inevitable distractions? In this role you will support one of our clients working under the structure of an internal PMO. You'll oversee small projects or phase(s) of a larger project while you enjoy the flexibility of providing project management services to multiple departments. Senior Business Analysts, Project Coordinators or Project Managers who've led smaller projects are ideal for this role.
This role is for a one year contract position with a potential option to renew. The position is based in metro Phoenix, AZ.
Your Responsibilities
Provide leadership and expertise to deliver projects, programs and initiatives on schedule and within budget. Plan and administer projects, ensuring the deliverables are completed correctly and on time. Must be comfortable communicating at the most senior levels of a customer service organization and managing other resources. May support a Lead PM, acting as the lead when needed. Schedule and lead project meetings. Prepare and present status reports. Update project documentation.
