Patient's Choice Laboratories is seeking a dedicated and professional Operations Assistant to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will serve as the critical face (and voice) of our company-supporting patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff daily.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for future leaders. If you are a strong communicator with great technical aptitude and a compassionate heart, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do (Essential Responsibilities)

  • Keep Precise Records: Accurately document all interactions and maintain detailed records within company systems.
  • Collaborate & Escalate: Communicate effectively across internal departments and elevate complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Stay Compliant: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and company policies.

  • Customer Service: Customer service experience (call center experience is a major plus)
  • Industry Familiarity: At least 1 year of experience using medical terminology; previous laboratory, healthcare, or medical office experience is highly preferred.
  • Tech & Typing Skills: Strong computer proficiency with the ability to type at least 40 WPM while actively speaking with a caller.
  • Core Strengths: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex medical/laboratory information quickly.
  • Mindset: A professional, empathetic, and resilient approach to problem-solving in a high-volume environment.

Perks & Benefits
We believe in taking care of our team while you take care of our clients. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Paid Sick Leave
  • Employee Discount Programs
  • Clear pathways for professional growth, supervision, and management roles

Note on Location: This is an administrative, 100% in-person role at our Tempe, AZ office. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to their start date.
