Title: Senior Event IT Manager – Whitelabel & NA Festivals -

Location: USA (Remote)

Role Overview

As the Senior Event IT Manager, you will lead the IT strategy, planning, and execution for our Whitelabel productions and major Festival broadcasts. A critical component of this role is its client-facing nature: you will be the senior technical liaison for high-profile clients, expertly managing their expectations from early planning stages through to flawless on-site execution. You will collaborate heavily with external vendors to guarantee top-tier event delivery while ensuring that your sub teamʼs workflows remain tightly aligned with our wider global Event IT standards. Reporting directly to the Senior Director Event IT, you will work hand-in-hand with the leadership of our Whitelabel company pillar to bridge the gap between bespoke client demands, vendor logistics, and internal technical operations

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Expectation Management:

Technical Liaison:Serve as the primary, senior-level IT point of contact for Whitelabel clients, translating complex, bespoke requirements into actionable technical architectures.

Pre-Event Planning: Proactively manage high-level client expectations during the lead-up to events, ensuring complete transparency regarding technical capabilities, timelines, and infrastructure limitations.

Consultative Approach: Guide clients toward best-in-class IT solutions for their broadcasts, tournaments, and stage productions, balancing their creative vision with operational realities.

2. Vendor Management & Event Execution

Vendor Coordination: Source, evaluate, and manage various external IT, network, and hardware vendors required for complex festival and whitelabel event delivery.

End-to-End Delivery: Own the technical IT execution for these events, ensuring peak performance and reliability for broadcast, tournament, and production infrastructure.

3. Global Alignment & Team Leadership

Whitelabel Leadership Collaboration: Partner heavily with the leaders of the Whitelabel business pillar to ensure technical execution seamlessly aligns with overarching commercial, client, and production goals.

Process Harmonization: Ensure that the bespoke processes required for Whitelabel and Festival events align with the standardized workflows and strategic goals of the wider global Event IT team.

Team Oversight: Lead and mentor a specialized sub-team, managing deployments and workloads for direct reports focused on North American (NA) Festivals and whitelabel operations

Required Experience:

Required Experience: Experience: 5+ years of experience in Event IT, broadcast engineering, or live event infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Client-Facing Prowess: Proven track record of managing technical expectations and delivering complex IT solutions for high-profile external clients or B2B partners.

Vendor Management: Deep experience negotiating with, coordinating, and directing external technology vendors, ISPs, and hardware suppliers for live events.

Technical Breadth: Strong foundational knowledge of hybrid networking, server infrastructure, live streaming protocols, and stage production environments.

Soft Skills & Logistical Requirements:

  • Diplomatic Communicator: Exceptional ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical client stakeholders with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Matrix Management: Comfortable leading in a matrixed organization while collaborating heavily with division leaders.
  • Strategic Agility: Highly flexible and capable of harmonizing ad-hoc client demands with overarching global IT standards and budgets.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for on-site execution at global productions, major festivals, and live events.
